"I don't wanna"

A great time in good old R.I.

Emma's no longer scared of the waves, but Molly is not a fan of the beach at all.

Old timey baby

This dress used to be mine when I was little. Before that, it belonged to my firend Elizabeth.
Almost 30 years later, and it's still kickin.
Talk about a hand me down.

Most people keep toys in the toybox. We prefer to keep the toys on the floor and the kids in the toybox.

Molly is so excited to be a big girl with Emma.

Monkey Painter

Okay, I think this kid has watched too much curious george.

We've got to start selling her paintings as outsider art.

Molly Brushes Her Teeth

Molly brushed her teeth for the 1st time, or should I say, tooth.

She loved it. I couldn't tell if she just thought it was funny, or if she just liked the flavor of the toothpaste.

At the library, Emma got a book on cake decorating. It was an old book from Betty Crocker, Emma studied that book for days deciding what cake to make. She picked the Rainbow Cake. We made it when Mimi came to visit. (Any excuse to make cake, right?)
Ours came out way better than the picture in the book.

And it was yummy!

Move over Betty Crocker!

Father's Day

To celebrate Father's Day, we went to a picnic at Aunt Pam's house.
The girls had a lot of fun, and enjoyed seeing the family.

And they really enjoyed watching cousin Brian water ski behind the party boat.

Emma even let Molly pull her hair.
