Emma loves playing in the pumpkin patch. And pointing at pumpkins. And standing in pumpkins And falling for pumpkins. (What a crazy picture. Notice how she catches herself with her hands. She's so smart)
Emma got a very pretty fairy costume for her birthday, but she didn't want to wear it. She could almost open her presents by herself. Then, just for her, Maynard had a bunch of fireworks. They were great. This would have been a really cute picture if she was looking at the camera. She was all tuckered out after her party. Turning one takes a lot out of you.
Emma is one now. At least that's what her hat says. She had a really nice birthday. It was MaynardFest. Emma enjoyed seeing all the people downtown, especially the crazy caterpillar train. She really liked her cake that Mommy made. (from scratch!) She really really liked it. It was a yummy as tomatoes.
Emma likes the new place. She likes sitting on the couch, lounging and watching Sesame Street. She did this while I unpacked. She can get on and off the couch all by herself now. She's in couch potato training. Did I mention she can walk!
We moved. Not far, we're just across town. The internet is finally up and running so I can post things again. Emma was a big help packing.
This is her with her pumpkin. She didn't want us to pack the couch. She needed to rest with Grandma while we loaded the truck. Look at all that stuff! Now Emma has her own room, with all her toys. I think she likes it, but she likes hanging out with us in our room better.
We went to the Bolton Fair. It was great. Emma enjoyed an apple while Mommy had some yummy cotton candy. We saw a bunch of goats, including this cool one with a goatee. Emma enjoyed Rosie's Racing Pigs. (our pig lost) She was all tuckered out by the end, but she had a great time!
