Sushi!
Emma tried to eat Nori the other day. (It's seaweed used in making sushi.) She didn't really care for it. It kinda melts when you eat it, and it got stuck to her lip. Today, she decided she likes cheerios. She kept stealing them from Corin at playgroup. Emma can't really put them in her mouth yet, but if you put one in, she'll eat it!
She's been eating a lot. Today, she ate: 3 jars of baby food, some chick peas, some cheerios, leftover pears, 3 ounces of water, and she nursed 7 times!

Flashback...
Here's Emma the first night at home.
Here she is today, 6 1/2 months later.
I think she grew.
She used to be just a little speck in the crib. Now I'm trying to figure out how much longer until she needs a big kid bed.
She used to be swaddled in a tiny recieving blanket. Now we use them as burp cloths.

Note: She still sleeps with her arms up. And flashes two feet from her head still don't wake her up.

Enjoy the Show...
Emma and I worked at the movie theatre today. I used to work at the theatre, but had to quit when I was too pregnant to reach into the popcorn machine. Emma had a really good time. She rode in the baby backpack, and we cleaned the theatres and sold tickets. She really liked looking at the people who came to buy tickets, and they likes seeing her too!

Emma loves the outdoors...
Since it was so nice out yesterday, we had a picnic in the backyard. Emma loves the grass. She was pulling it up like crazy. She also kept trying to eat the dead leaves. We had a very nice Easter and I'll put up more adorable pictures of her in her bunny suit real soon. Tomorrow we are going to be helping out at the movie theatre. I think Emma will like selling tickets. I have to teacher her to say "Thank you, Enjoy the Show!"

Bunny Day Weekend
What a big weekend we had. Emma had a great time at her very first bunny day!
We braved the Egg Hunt
She got to meet the Easter Bunny.
She had a great time playing with her balloon when she got home.
She was all worn out after bunny day. (We all were)
To celebrate Bunny Day Emma had her first cracker. (She didn't care for it)
Our Weekend Continued...
So many Pictures they wouldn't all fit in one post.
Sunday we went back to the park for a walk. Emma liked looking at the lake.
She liked swinging on the swing with Mommy
But she liked swinging by herslef better.
She really enjoyed the walker at Grandma's, but she could only get it to go backwards.
She loved playing on the playground. She could hold herself up on the monkey bars.
And she really loved the rock wall. In a few years we can all go rock climbing!
We had a very nice weekend!

A new meaning to baby's first curl...
Emma and I went with Grammy to the ...... Men's World Curling Championship. We had a good time. Emma really enjoyed watching people curling. They were yelling crazy things in Norwegian, and there were lots of bright lights, and lots of silly people in the audience yelling, and singing and cheering. Emma's first words are gonna be "Aussie aussie aussie oye oye oye"
