This is Emma and her Grandpa. She really likes his mustache. It's just like daddy's, but white.
Emma is doing great. She has learned to "Razz", and she does it all day long. She has also learned to put her feet in her mouth. Who needs to suck on a thumb, when you can suck on a whole set of toes.
Emma has a her first playgroup tomorrow. We'll keep you posted.

Poopy pants...
So we took a nice trip to Aren't Nancy's house in the new car seat, and Emma pooped, and pooped and pooped. She got poop on 3 layers of clothes, but luckily not on the car seat. Since she used her spare outfit the day before, and I forgot to pack a new one, here she is in a stuffed bunny rabbit's t-shirt. Luckily aren't Nancy had a washer and dryer, so Emma was only bottomless for an hour or so!

New Car Seat
Emma got a new car seat today. She outgrew the old one. This one is good till 100 pounds. We should be safe now.
She actually was too tall for the old car seat. She still had a few pounds to go in it. I still have to use it as a baby lugger because the new car seat doesn't leave the car.
But now Emma has lots of seating, if any babies want to come over and visit.

A Big Healthy Baby...
Emma had her 4 month checkup today. She is doing great. She weighs 17 pounds 3.8 oz. (100 percentile) and she is 25 3/4 inches long. (97 percentile) So she is back on the chart.
She got her shots, (no Polio for my little girl) and she is in great health.
This is her unhappily wearing her winter coat. She was not in the mood to be dressed up.
Her cold is all gone. Marc is still a bit sick, but Emma is feeling all better. She even got to go shopping for bridesmaids dresses with Kathleen. She had all of the sales ladies cooing over her. They said they thinks she will be president someday, or a super model, or both.

Emma and Seamus
Emma made a new friend. Seamus, my friend Erin's son, is 9 months old. Now we have proof that Emma is the size of a 9 month old.
Emma and Seamus had a lot of fun together, but I think Seamus was confused why Emma couldn't sit up and play. He must think she's pretty dumb.
He doesn't know that she's the world's biggest baby.

Runny nose...
My poor little Emma has a cold. It's really just a stuffed up nose, but a stuffed up nose is a big problem when you don't know how to blow your nose. She's a little bit better today, but she has developed a cough. The kind of cough you get when boogers run down the back of your throat.
Hopefully she'll fell better soon.

Emma in her jumper...
i tried to post this last night, but failed...
We got a Johnny Jump Up for Emma. She really loves it. She's bit small for it, but it's only good for 7 more pounds, so we had to get it. Watch her in action. (It gives her the hiccups)

Not a boy...
Emma is not a boy, but everybody thinks she is, because I dress her in blue. So what if she has a blue outfit, a green bib, a blue car seat, and a cow with blue trim. I don't want to staple a pink ribbon on her head. I'll just let the strangers in the grocery store continue to tell me I have a very cute son.
